A: The people behind Global School of Animation and Games are pioneers in Animation Education. Other colleges are starting animation graduation courses in 2009 whereas they started animation graduation programs way back in 2004. Infact the 1st Animation Degree Course in India was started by the Dean of the College.

 

Q: Do I get an atmosphere for art and technology?

A: The atmosphere of the school has more of an "art-school" quality. A major advantage our students have is a computer workstation to work on. Student work is evaluated in personal critique sessions with their classroom instructors, not by outside parties. Their final work is always critiqued in the context of their progress, skills, and work ethic. Teachers get to know their students personally and serve as excellent mentors during the program and beyond.

A: Getting a job in the industry depends on the student's personal skills and creativity. A: Delhi, NCR Region, Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad, itself are one of the hottest place for animation and games, employing thousands. Students can work locally or can work on projects for feature films, TV series, commercials, web cartoons and video games. Others can become independent and work on their own projects or as freelance for other companies.

 

Q: Why do I need art and drawing skills to be a CG animator? Don't computers do it all?

A: The computer is just a tool. Computers do not create animation, artists do! Computer animation studios want to hire people with strong fine-art skills first and then a knowledge of 3D software. The ability to visualize ideas and an understanding of life drawing and anatomy is vital for the computer animator or modeler. You will be able to illustrate concepts with traditional art first, and then create the final product using the computer.

A: Global School provides accommodation for boys and girls near the campus.
