A: The atmosphere of the school has more of an "art-school" quality. A major advantage students have here is they are provided with a computer workstation to facilitate their learning. Student work is evaluated in personal critique sessions with their classroom instructors. Their final work is evaluated in the context of their progress, skills, and work ethics. Teachers get to know their students personally and serve as excellent mentors during the tenure of the program and even beyond that.

A: Getting a job in the industry depends on the student's personal skills and creativity. A: Interactive multimedia design is mainly used for promotions and marketing. Since it is being used by major companies like Cisco, Microsoft, Sony, Coke and Adidas, the requirements for this course comes from very high and renowned production studios. Global School is also working on developing its own in-house production team, where you can always feel free to work.

Q: Why do I need art and drawing skills to be a CG animator? Don't computers do it all?

A: The computer is just a tool. Computers do not create animation, artists do! Computer animation studios want to hire people with strong fine-art skills first and then a knowledge of 3D software. The ability to visualize ideas and an understanding of live drawing and anatomy is vital for the computer animator or modeler. You will be able to illustrate concepts with traditional art first, and then create the final product using the computer.
